And by the way... if we all die... its not important i think, i mean, once you are dead, you are not able to think "oh, shit, i would like to life more time" or "i wasted my time and i am sad that i am dead", there will be anyone to say, what the hell have made the CERN, they destroyed the half earth, no familiars who'll miss you. According the theory, a blackhole has an infinite mass .
That's why it can attract a whole planet (Gravity rules).
So, again according therory, there isn't notion of power for a blackhole or even a notion of size.
If a blackhole is created, even with a size of a piece of one Euro cent , therory said it able to destroy the world.

there website and youtube interview - they dont keep it on to create a blackhole. once it has been on for a VERY short time - few seconds the are summoning micro-sized blackholes which vanish shrotly BECAUSE ablack hole stays alive by absorbing mass - if its to small the force isnt strong enought o suck anything in - gets weaker and weaker then vanishes. they are trying to get ablackhole to stay around for about 10-15 secs. recording it - then viewing it back slowly to see what was inside

A Black hole, not even the "hole" itself, but the singularity inside it, theoretically, has infinite density, not mass:) For instance, for a natural black hole to form, a star 20 times the mass of the Sun, me thinks, has to burn down and it will collapse and go past the Chandrasekhar limit to turn into completely degenarate matter, forming the singularity.

Any black hole dissipates huge amounts of energy into space, and they do die out in the end. The black holes created inside the collider, and not "around" the LHC, as I cant imagine how thats explainable, are short-span demoversions of real size black holes, I believe. They probably wont even last seconds, micro-microseconds, rather.

Experiences from the CERN will be perhaps push out the limit of our known physics. They don't know really what's they will have as the result of their experience ! So, nothing is impossible ... even if the destroying of the earth by a darkhole seems to be very unprobable.
Before the discover of electricity, I'm sure some people said "it will be impossible to run a train at 400 km/h..."

European and US opinions are certainly manipulated AS the russian opinions are manipulated !!! Believe only russian information, or believe only CNN news => same mistakes. I accept i'm manipulated from news from Europe about Osetia, but Federalic, perhaps, u need to accept sometimes u are too in Russia with russian information ...

Even if in the Gorgian case, it's true our informations are corrupted. Type "Dagomys Treaty" in google to know why russians are right and why Saakashvili (georgian president) has made a huge mistake by attacking South Osetia.
Now, Europeans need to decide if they are in the american world or if they want to prevent a new cold war. And try to have Gorgia and Ukrain in OTAN will not solve that, russians are not stupid. They have seen the result of American behaviour with Bulgaria,Slovenia, Poland and Romania. These bunch of countries who work in Europe against the Europe for USA and trying to create war situation with russia... Too bad Europe seems to see nothing about these countries.

Yeah, I agree with cynyx on the "news" bit... Lies and propaganda are on each side, which makes it even more scary to try to think what REALLY is going on. But nvm, the war... I mean, well, if the black hole destroys the Earth, there cant possibly be a World War 3, which will destroy the Earth anyway.
