new hardware components :)

Bought yesterday, installed this morning, i have updated some components in my PC. Not high geek config, just average components :
CPU : Intel core 2 duo E6750
MB : Gigabyte P35-DS3R
RAM : 2 *1g Corsair Twin2x DDR2 6400 CAS4
GPU : PNY Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS 320 RAM
I sell my old components for 150 Euros.
CPU : AMD dual core 3800+
MB : Gigabyte GA-K8N Pro-Sli
RAM : 2*512 DDR 400 Corsair Value Select
2*512 DDR 400 Kingston
GPU : Gainward Nvidia Geforce 7800 GT 512 RAM

Nice spec Cyndy. 640MB 8800GTS would have increased frame rates for games like BioShock etc (but also increased cost
)

I know ... but 100 euros more expensive. when i will need 640 mo, i will buy a new gpu... I have only a 19 inches... so i really think 640 mo is for others...
I'm waiting for my new mouse : logitech G9 ...

KIO, u know when u have a good job ... money is not hard to earn
.
I play video games since 20 years now... it's a way of live ... some people buy huge TV, some others buy a car every year ... everybody spends money in what he likes... and nobody need to be judge for that in my opinion. Even if for some of my friends it's stupid to buy pc hardware, i think it's stupid to buy a car every 6 months...
However i have not same passion than some friends ... beer is the link between me and them
. and ... to be honest, i spend more money in restaurant and alcool (and some other things...) than in computer hardware...

you made a Horrible mistake
the 8800GT was just released, it's cheaper and it's faster than the old GTS
the new GTS with 112 stream processors is what i like to call a MONSTER
and costs little more than the old GTS! and it's faster!

I'm playing with a 8800GTS 640Mo since two week and it' powerful enough for all actual games. Except crysis but for this one you need a geek config :p
