Error with steam ID!

Hello guys...
I had recently problems with my steam account, I was unable to join any game bcz of : "Error ... steam ID" or something like that, steam was unable to check my steam account ID. It seem that disconnect your steam account and then reconnect it can solve this problem for... a little time. (Dont close steam and reopen it, but disconnect your steam ID and then reconnect it... so if you have forgotten your password...). If you get a better solution... explain it, if no, I hope that i can help some of you!

Waiting is the only solution for this shitty steam problem. Seems also more u try, more longer u can't connect. So don't hesitate to wait some (long) minutes before retry.

you should delete ClientRegistry.blob which is in C:\Program Files\steam

I always disconnect and reconnect imediately. And "thanks GOD" it works

yeah, I had a "Cant connect to Valve VAC server" problem recently... restarting steam helped perfectly...

FUCK STEAM.
I can't connect after several wrong steam id.
now i have that :
it's funny to see i can create a new acount and buy other fucking valve game on this new one....... but i still not able to connect with my true account.
Steam connection works if i want to buy new game, but fails if i want to use my 50 euros account.
FUCK VALVE, FUCK STEAM.

My steam password doesn't work.
And the procedure to retrieve it doesn't send mail to my mailbox.
I have writed to Valve via steampowered website.
I don't know how but perhaps my account has been hacked.
I'm bored and off from HL2 during a undermined period.

I don't want an another account, i want mine.
if my acount is really hacked and used by a cheater, i leave HL2.
For the moment my account seems not to be banned in VAC list.
Just i wait a valve support answer, perhaps take time.

Glad to see you sorted this. Please don't talk about leaving! What happens if fede passes out from too much vodka? I don't think I can carry him on my back and bunnyhop on my own!
So if that thought does ever cross your mind cynyx just think about poor fede, sitting in the snow in the cold...and me crushed underneath...
Disabled is top dollar. He helped me with bunnyhop training very first time.
Did you say he is leaving fede?
